1. For Mr. Dancealot, it seems that the author is trying to portray the way different learning styles can not be as effective in certain classroom settings. By creating different scenes where the students are unable to practice what they are being taught, appear to be confused, or are bored to the point of sleeping let the viewer know that the teacher's methods and stubborn teaching tactics are ineffective at best. I agree with what the author is trying to conclude, because each classroom should have a different style of teaching. It would not be easy to learn different dance moves if you're stuck in a chair in a lecture hall the whole time. It is necessary to use numerous methods of teaching on students, especially when it appears they are not understanding or retaining the knowledge.

     I personally love what Roberts is getting to. In today's classrooms, you have to be capable of adapting to the different teaching methods and technology. I am a huge fan of technology in the classroom, especially personally laptops. The students are more engaged when things go beyond paper and pen methods of learning. The idea of having online books and interactive studying online will allow students to find what ways of studying/learning works best for them. As an educator, I will keep my classroom updated on the newest software and technologies, if capable, so that my students will have the best time learning and interacting in the classroom setting.
 
 3. The Network Student, I believe the argument to revolve around what a teacher is necessary for in the upbringing of a student in the 21st Century. The video goes on n explaining what the student is capable of doing in today's world, from reading blogs of other professors at outstanding colleges and universities, to Skyping with well-known people to discuss their current knowledge, while developing his own. The possibilities are endless. However, the real question lies when the question is asked, "Why does the networked student even need a teacher?" My first reaction was to believe that the student did not, in fact, need a teacher, but then the video went on. How would we learn these possibilities without a teacher? The educator is our first step into finding these things out. He/She will provide the student with the skills necessary to gather all the information needed to be a successful network student.

 4.Vicki Davis does an excellent job portraying what is even more inevitable today: There are plenty of way to teach and excel in the classroom beyond just paper and pen. She even talks Her classroom is based off of the use of technology and reaching above the general guidelines for teaching. She encourages her students to look up things for themselves and explore the world of technology. I agree completely with her. Her students seem to become more efficient in the classroom and effective in their projects and learning methods.

5.  I am a little embarrassed to say that it seems as if the elementary students are ahead in the learning race. After watching Dr. Strange's video, it is apparent that I, as well as, other students, are not as advanced in the technological area. I know that I am unable to do most of the things on the computers that even the third grader was doing, much less even use a Mac. A part of me wishes that my elementary would have been as advanced as the one in Gulf Shores.

6. The concept of flipping a classroom is not necessarily new to me. I have be in numerous classrooms that have used this concept frequently. Their goals were to also to allow the teacher to serve as a facilitator. I thoroughly enjoyed this type of teaching. I found it very useful to be able to focus on what the I did not understand and was unable to figure out on my own. In my classroom, I want the children to be able to be independent in their learnings, but still allow them to rely on me whenever a problem arises.
